Printmaster Greeting Cards Deluxe is intuitively designed and easy for computer novices to operate. The program offers ample help and creative advice, with a wealth of unique project ideas and resources. And you just can't beat the price—this greeting card software is a bargain.

Ease of Use:  

This greeting card software is well designed; instructions are woven throughout the program so it's easy to find what you need in PrintMaster Greeting Cards Deluxe. The program layout is quite similar to that of PrintMaster Platinum—intuitive.

Feature Set:  

PringMaster Greeting Cards Deluxe contains a generous assortment of clip art images and project templates—top quality, excellent variety. At first, it was difficult to spot differences, but there are a few we found between this program and it's successor, PrintMaster Platinum.

Print Master Greeting Cards Deluxe doesn't offer batch photo editing, and there are fewer photo editing features available (such as focus and tone editing). This software doesn't offer a large religious image library as PrintMaster Platinum does, you have fewer sound editing options, and you cannot burn greeting card projects to CD or convert them to PDF files using this software.

Ease of Installation:  

We had no problems installing PrintMaster Greeting Cards Deluxe. However, this software comes with a large library; unless you install the whole thing on your hard drive up front, you'll have to insert a new disc now and then to access specific files.

Help/Support:  

PrintMaster Greeting Cards Deluxe help files are informative and convenient; the instructions are relevant to your location in the program. You can find answers with the index search tool, too. Telephone and email support are available from Broderbund, and the website includes a FAQs page.

Since PrintMaster Greeting Cards Deluxe is an earlier version of our #1 pick, PrintMaster Platinum, the programs have many similar features. But this program, PrintMaster Greeting Cards has fewer tools and perks. If you don't need all the latest and greatest in your greeting card software, PrintMaster Greeting Cards is a solid value and one of the least expensive greeting card programs available.
